How to clear Google play store error codes

advertise here

The Google Play-store undoubtedly is the best and most secure platform to download Apps and Books. In recent updates Google has even added more interesting features like MOVIES AND TV, BOOKS, MUSIC. But sometimes our Play-store might hamper us from downloading that Top rated movie or app, what can be done in situations like these?
Problem 1
Error when trying to download games, movies, books or update apps from the Google Play Store.
Solution
One fix for this issue is to clear the cache data for Google Play Store.
1. Go to Settings > Apps or Application Manager
2. Scroll across to All and then down to the Google Play Store app.
3. Clear cache and try again. If store does not still open, then;
4. Open the app details and tap the Force stop button.
5. Next tap on the Clear data button.
If problem still persists, clear Google PlayService data and cache.
Problem 2
Error retrieving information from server or no internet(Wi-Fi) connection.
First solution
Go to Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store and select both Clear data and Clear cache. Do the same for Google Services Framework.
Second solution
 Remove and re-add your Gmail account, restart your device and then re-add your Gmail account.
third solution
 Update google playstore and google play services manually.
You can also try clearing data and cache for ‘Google framework service’. it’s a system app.
Problem 3
Google playstore does not open. Tells you to check connection and try again.
First solution
 Go to Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store and select both Clear data and Clear cache. Do the same for Google Services Framework.
Second solution
 Update google play store services and store manually (you can do this by searching for both apps on google, download and install)
Third solution
 If problem still persists, your hosts file may have been tampered with. This happens most times when “freedom”(for in App and LvL emulation) is installed on android 5.1 devices. To clear this you’ll be needing Root access and a root manager application, e.g Root explorer. Youll need to clear the host file. Using root explorer, Mount RW > etc > hosts > open with text editor > add # before the 127.0.0.1 and save. Then reboot or better still delete the host file, reboot and connect.
Problem 4
Error 944
Error 944 appears when the the Google Play Store servers are offline or if they’re suffering from some other connectivity issue. The best solution is to just a little while and try again, rather than messing around with app settings.
Error code 944 is a bit of an annoying Play Store error, as you’ll just have to wait for the servers to fix themselves. But at least there’s nothing wrong on your handset.
Problem 5
Error 481
If you’re unfortunate enough to see the 481 error code, then it’s probably the end of the road for your Google account. This code means that there’s some sort of major error with your account. The only fix is to remove your old account and then sign up for a new one. You can remove your account under General Settings > Accounts > Google.
If below steps doesn’t help, best option is to restore factory settings of device.
